Rahbord Energy: On the sidelines of the Iran Expo 2024, Dr. Farhad Amin Dehghan, the CEO of Sepahan Oil Company said the company has reached full production capacity. According to Amin Dehghan, the company produced over 760 thousand tons of industrial lubricants, over 500 thousand tons of which were exported. He said the exported material brought $400mn for Iran and luckily all that money entered the foreign exchange system of Iran.
According to Dehghan, given the production capacities of the company, it is seeking to boost production quality through cooperation with knowledge-based groups and obtain valid standard certificates for export purposes.
The CEO of Sepahan Oil Company named Africa as the company’s export target and added that because of the easy access to Africa markets facilitated through Iran Expo, the company is trying to get the data on popular cars in the continent in order to produce and export the relevant products.
He added that lubrication products of Sepahan oil company have so far been exported to 11 countries including India, China, Turkish-speaking nations as well as some African countries, saying that the products have been received well.
Amin Dehghan touched on the supply of “Maglube” engine(motor) oil to the UAE and said this product enjoys the highest European standards tailored for luxury cars. He added that the product has enjoyed relative success and the company is determined to expand its presence in that market.
He also said the company has received orders tailor-made engine oils. He added that through a contract with Iran Khodro, the company is producing a special engine oil for IKCO.
The CEO of Sepahan Oil Company also said that the company had 15 development plans and said it is planning “calcium grease” for the first time in the company. He added that 9 new products are on the production agenda of the company and 3 of them are specially tailored for diesel & heavy vehicles.
Amin Dehghan pointed to 3 main plans of the Sepahan Oil Company and said F.R.W. project has progressed 90% and is aimed at boosting the quality of the products. He said that the project will be inaugurated this year.
He said the second project is TDAE which related to the production of Green RPO. This new product is capable of being exported and will make the country self-sufficient.According to Amin Dehghan, the development of capillary supply chains in Kimia Speedy, is the 3rd project of the company this year which is aimed at expanding the direct supply of the company’s products.
The CEO of Sepahan Oil Company also highlighted the cooperation between the main producers of engine oil in the country and said this cooperation will contribute to the stabilization of the domestic market and the supply of raw material.
